As Director of Information Security, Gary Hayslip advises Softbank Investment Advisers (SBIA) executive leadership on protecting critical information resources and overseeing enterprise cybersecurity strategy. As the senior security executive for SBIA, Hayslip’s mission includes creating partnerships and a “risk aware” culture that places a high value on securing critical information entrusted to SBIA. Hayslip is a proven cybersecurity professional; previous information security roles include multiple CISO, CIO, and CRO roles for Webroot Software, the City of San Diego, the U.S. Navy (Active Duty) and U.S. Navy (Federal Government employee). Gary is involved in the cybersecurity and technology start-up communities where he mentors both Cybersecurity and Internet of Things startups. He currently holds multiple professional certifications including CISSP, CISA, and CRISC, and has a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management from University of Maryland University College & Masters in Business Administration from San Diego State University.
